If you’ve been considering earning your Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), there is no better time than now! Utah Tech is an affordable, nationally accredited and ranked university with a flexible program to fit your needs! Read on to learn more about our 100%-online RN to BSN degree.
Why Earn Your RN to BSN?
There are plenty of great reasons to earn your BSN. Here are some of our top reasons:
- Nurses with their BSN have better patient outcomes, including lower mortality rates, fewer failure-to-rescues, and fewer post-surgery complications. *
- Nurses with their BSN have more opportunity for higher earnings. According to PayScale, the average salary for an ADN nurse in 2022 is $74K, while the salary for a BSN is $89K.
- Employers are looking for nurses with BSN degrees.**
- Earning a BSN may eventually become mandatory, and some employers even offer tuition assistance. For instance, in Utah, Intermountain Healthcare offers tuition reimbursement of up to $5,250 per calendar year to current RNs earning their BSN.
- Earning a BSN prepares nurses on topics like communication, community education, leadership, and psychology, and better prepares them in things like data analysis, project implementation, and evidence-based practice.***
