Orientation to Online Teaching

Teaching online requires a set of skills and strategies that are distinct from those used in a traditional, in-person classroom. The Orientation to Online Teaching was developed to help you get the right start in teaching online.

This mini course is for all faculty new to online teaching and is the first step for meeting the requirement to “complete an online teaching certificate program to be eligible to teach online” (University Policy 633).
